Wernher Collection at Ranger's House

Ranger's House is a is a medium-sized red brick Georgian mansion in the Palladian style, adjacent to Greenwich Park in the south east of London.
The house dating from c.1700, was originally built by Capt., later Vice-Admiral Francis Hosier(1673–1727), on wasteland adjacent to Greenwich park. The House then had a superb view and easy access to London by road and river. Admiral Hosier occupied the house from 1700-1727.
In 1748 the lease of the house was inherited by the 4th Earl of Chesterfield. He was a politician, diplomat, man of letters and wit who eventually became Secretary of State.
Ranger's House is having unique and eclectic collection of more than 650 works of art. Ranger’s House, an elegant redbrick villa on the edge of Greenwich Park, is the new home of the Wernher Collection – an exhibition of great international importance that brings together an astounding array of objects including paintings, jewellery, porcelain, silverware, furniture, woodcarving and tapestries.
Nearly 700 works of art are on display, including early religious paintings and Dutch Old Masters, minute carved Gothic ivories, fine Renaissance bronzes and silver treasures revealing the genius of medieval craftsmen and the unparalleled quality of Renaissance decorative arts.

Normally entry fare of Ranger's House is for Adult is £5.70 and for the child is £2.90, The Opening time is as 5 April-30 September, Monday-Wednesday (10.00-17.00) and on Sunday 11.00-17.00. It is closed On October-March. You can buy "London Pass" and visit 71 Attractions in London instead of buying tickets at each attraction. It can save your time and energy.
