The tour runs between Little Venice and Camden lock. It takes about forty-five minutes each way or one and a half hours round trip. On the leg from Little Venice up to Camden there is a live commentary from our trained guides who will tell you all about the canal's history from 1800 to the present day. The final place of interest along here is this houseboat which was built in the mid 1980's and originally belonged to Barry and Jackie Colby who had previously travelled the waterways in their liveaboard narrowboat called Nice Dreams. Along with Richard Branson's former barge, the Colby's barge are the only houseboats along this stretch that have a split level arrangement. The London Waterbus Company runs scheduled water bus services run all year round, with an hourly service running daily during the spring and summer months (April–September). In the autumn the company runs a reduced service four days a week, and in winter there is a weekend service only. They also provide charter hire services and regular day-long trips along the Regent's Canal to the Limehouse Basin, and on the Grand Union Canal.
