Guards Museum- Adventurous Visit

The museum first opened in 1988. It tells the history of the regiments it represents from the 17th century to the present day. The displays include examples of uniform, chronicling the evolving dress of the various regiments. There are also paintings, drawings, and sculptures, depicting the various battles in which the regiments have played a part.
The museum is having many parts of historical sections as Uniforms, Colours, weapons, silver, medals, pictures and many interesting items of memorabilia depicting the lives in peace and war of the men who served Sovereign and Country in the regiments of Foot Guards. Personal records of members of The Foot Guards are not part of the collection and access is not available to them through the Museum.
Guards Museum is having thousands of artifacts and a library with over 3,000 books and periodicals about U.S. Coast Guard and Pacific Northwest maritime history, over 2,500 historical documents, clippings and vessel plans, and over 15,000 photographs and much more secrets. Among the exhibits are numerous detailed ship models, portions of historic ships, Coast Guard uniforms, lenses from lighthouses and buoys, and the Coast Guard flag carried on the first Space Shuttle flight.
The normal cost for enjoying this wonder for Adult is £4.00, for Seniors & students is £2.00, for groups Over 25 persons is £2.00 and for Children Under 16 is Free. The opening time is as Munday – Sunday (10.00-16.00. You can buy “London Pass” and visit 71 Attractions in London instead of buying tickets at each attraction. It can save your time and energy.
